Life Skills Abilities Connection (LSAC) was founded in the summer of 2007. We determined from the beginning that we would be dedicated to the support of young disabled adults.
Our primary goals is to help individuals lead a more productive, full life. Our clients vary in the degree of their disability and their needs. Each person is evaluated individually and a program is developed mutually to meet their desires and needs. We have a number of programs to meet these needs.
Training:
Our training programs range from basic computer and software training to advanced training. We offer training for individuals to develop their home-based Internet and e-commerce businesses; moreover, we offer support as long as is necessary. We use eBay as a training tool to learn a variety of skills. This approach allows us to teach basic business principles, on-line communication, information search, banking, money management, shipping and handling as well as a variety of other talents.
Another suite of developmental courses includes “Soft Skills”, that train individuals seeking employment. This program develops attitude, personal empowerment and communication skills which are vital to business owners. Resume development and career coaching are also available.
Moreover; we assist students with GED preparation as well as introduction to higher education. Typing programs, and Life Library training covers grades 4 through 12 with all subjects.
Since we began our operation in 2007, almost 100 students have participated in our programs. Some students have been successfully trained in multiple courses.
